My daughter has mini Josefina, mini Nellie, and mini Samantha. Samantha's bangs are very poofy but other than that, we think all three dolls are wonderful. The quality of the dolls is high and none of the dolls had any loose hair and it was cut nicely. The dolls were bought at Borders, which we were glad about so we pick the ones we liked best. Our Borders carries a couple of the dolls sporadically so you never know what they'll have and when. They sell out very quickly and then weeks or months will go by with no dolls. But I'll never buy an AG mini through mail order because I'd rather be able to pick it out myself.

I do have a problem with the price though. There are plenty of little dolls on the market with more workmanship in the clothing than AG but cost WAY less, such as the little Kelly dolls from Barbie. It's too bad that AG is taking advantage of their exclusive rights to the doll design and charging so much for them. As long as we buy the mini dolls, we are saying "Yes" to the outrageous prices. sigh. forums

Because of the price, it's taking me a long time to get the mini dolls. 18" doll clothing seems better value for the $. I don't have any minis yet but eventually will get Kit, Josefina, Felicity, Nellie and Kaya.
